Professional Summary
Ms. Kwon provides a variety of services to the firm’s clientele,
with a focus on real estate transactions. She handles all
aspects of residential and commercial real estate
transactions, including contract negotiations, financing,
title and leasing. In addition, Ms. Kwon assists the Firm’s
hotel and restaurant clients obtain liquor and other
municipal licenses, often counseling and advising clients in
the area of compliance with the Alcohol Beverage Control
Law. Ms. Kwon also represents commercial property owners in
tax certiorari filings and proceedings.
Ms. Kwon maintained a highly
active academic career, serving as Business Editor for the
Rutgers Law Review, Teaching Associate for the Legal
Research and Writing program, and officer of the Asian
Pacific American Law Students Association. At Rutgers School
of Law – Newark, Ms. Kwon participated in the Community Law
Clinic, through which she provided corporate and
transactional services to New Jersey nonprofit corporations,
start-up for-profit businesses, community development
corporations and charter schools.
Prior to her work at the Firm,
Ms. Kwon was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Edward
T. O’Connor, Jr., J.S.C. in Hudson County. As a trained
mediator, Ms. Kwon mediated and settled a variety of small
claims and special civil cases.
